NLP Software Engineering Intern The LinkedIn Engineering team is looking for passionate and talented students to work on Natural Language Processing problems, to bring economic opportunity to everyone in the world, no matter what language the profiles, job descriptions, posts or comments are written in. We offer unique opportunities wherein you will play with huge amounts of data, solve real users’ pain points, and publish at major conferences. Responsibilities: Research different solutions to some NLP problems. Contribute to the development of NLP systems. Produce a deliverable result by the end of the internship. Company: LinkedIn Qualifications: Basic Qualifications: You must be currently enrolled in a college or university program and must be returning to school the term following your summer internship. Pursuing a M.S or Ph.D in computer science, statistics, mathematics, or electrical engineering. 2 years of programming experience in Java. Preferred Qualifications: Strong command of algorithms and data structures. 1-2 years of experience with machine learning, data mining, or statistics. 1-2 years of experience in clustering, collaborative filtering, and classification techniques (Naïve Bayes, SVM, NN, Boosting Methods, etc.).
