Lead Node.js Engineering Team to Deliver Strategic Technology Capabilities
Marsh McLennan Dublin Innovation Centre seeks a hands-on Node.js Engineering Lead to share expertise and experience with distributed technology teams in Dublin and India.
About the Role
- Lead and shape the strategic technology capability to replace/re-write custom apps built using.NET to Node.js
- Develop and deliver the roadmap to delight users
- Help shape the next stage development, technical direction, and global rollout of MShare, a strategic document management platform
Key Responsibilities
- Lead distributed teams of skilled engineers to build, enhance, and maintain business-critical apps
- Set technical direction and roadmap for applications, partnering with IT and business stakeholders
- Act as a subject matter expert on apps and problem domain
- Provide thought leadership on technology deployment for competitive advantage
- Manage, coach, develop, and support team members in problem solving and solution delivery
Requirements
- Significant Node.js experience
- Experience in building and leading distributed technology teams on complex technical problems
- JavaScript, Kubernetes, and AWS experience
- Experience with modern application architectures and development environments
