```html Job Description DEPARTMENT: Technical Solutions REPORTING TO: Development Project Manager DIRECT REPORTS: N/A OBJECTIVES OF POSITION: Project manage new customers products and processes into the plant. Generate machine programs as required to execute builds. Subject matter expert on customer processes and provide a single technical point of contact for the customer on Quality and Engineering issues. Procure the necessary tooling for each process step. Execute NPI builds through necessary assembly processes. Support the transfer of new products into the volume production environment. Support Business development team to win new business in product development space. Provide technical reports/proposals and simulations for production lines. Manage the development of Automation systems for new and existing products. Ability to develop URS to manage supplier FDS and de-risking activities like proof of principles. Successfully complete FAT/SAT and validation activities (IQ/OQ/PQ). Identify areas for improvement both in the product design and manufacturing process as the builds are executed. Preparation of time studies and analysis of process requirements for new product quotes. RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead activities to develop processes and system setup for new products. Be part of a product development team, bringing leading-edge products to market. Provide DFx with focus on DFM & DFA on New Product Developments. Ensure New Product builds are successfully transferred through to volume Production. Prepare project timelines and lead cross-functional teams to successfully complete customer projects. Develop, troubleshoot and validate these process and systems in a compliant manner. Work with design engineering and assist in the transition of design prototypes into cost-efficient and high-volume products. Support the execution of Verification and Validation on all new tooling and processes. Analyze and recommend improvements to all production processes and methods to facilitate cost reduction and quality improvement. Work with the operations and engineering department to develop and define technical training. Provide support in NPI production to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems. Highlight technical issues that inhibit NPI or volume production and escalate issues as appropriate to drive resolution. Quality: Assure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements. Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with Health & Safety Legislation and Regulations. PERSONNEL SPECIFICATION ESSENTIAL: NFQ Level 8 Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Mechatronics or automation related discipline). 3/5 years experience in a similar engineering or project management role in manufacturing, automation or equipment build environment. Excellent equipment knowledge and process debug troubleshoot skills. Good communication and influencing skills. Customer facing experience. DESIRABLE: Experience with Fuji SMT P&P equipment (NXT, CP, IP, FujiFlexa etc.). Experience with other electronic assembly processes such as wave/selective soldering, robotic soldering, press fit, screen print etc. Automation expertise including PLC, pneumatics, robotics, cobots, vision systems, etc. Experience with operational software systems (Oracle, Agile). Manufacturing in a Cleanroom. Mechanical experience, tooling design and implementation. Medical device process validation. 6-sigma green belt. Solidworks 3D printing experience.
