Job Description Role Purpose To be responsible for developing and monitoring nursing standards across Stewarts Care services. The post holder has responsibility for promoting excellence in clinical care and practice across the organisation. The post holder will be responsible for the management of the undergraduate nursing programme HSP requirements. Key Responsibilities Support the development and implementation of the Nursing and organisational strategy, to ensure high professional standards of nursing practice and care are achieved and ensure a culture of continuous quality improvement is promoted. Ensure that the undergraduate nursing programme delivers high quality learning outcomes and experience for student nurses and their preceptors. The Person Registered Nurse Intellectual Disability (RNID) with five years' experience in ID or Registered Nurse with seven years' experience in ID. QQI level 9 in a relevant postgraduate qualification. Evidence of participation in continued professional development. Minimum two years nursing management experience at Clinical Nurse Manager 2 level or higher, which must have been in an Intellectual Disability setting. Nurse Tutor or training and education experience would be preferable. On appointment practitioners must maintain live annual registration in the Intellectual Disability Division of the Register of Nurses & Midwives maintained by (NMBI) Possesses the clinical, managerial, and administrative capacity to properly discharge the functions of the role.
