Cpl Healthcare is seeking applications for the role of Occupational Health Nurse Advisor for a large healthcare technologies company with healthcare products in medical devices, nutritional products, and generic medications.
The role is full-time seeking 39 hours per week.
Role will be based in Kilkenny.
As an Occupational Health Nurse Advisor, you will contribute to the health and wellbeing of the employees within their Diabetes Care Division, Kilkenny, championing health and wellbeing of employees through the effective implementation of Occupational Health programmes whilst providing exceptional care in an environment where quality, respect, caring, and compassion are at the centre of all they do.
You will work closely with the Environmental, Health & Safety Manager, Management, and the Occupational Health Physician to put in place a first-class Occupational Health service that meets the needs in the health and wellbeing of employees and coordinate the First Aid & AED programme.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Registered Nurse with up-to-date NMBI registration and hold a recognised Occupational Health qualification.
- At least 3 years of experience in an occupational health setting.
- Experience with Occupational Health practices, policies, and procedures, return to work, absence management, and immunisations.
- Competent in utilizing IT programs and databases.
- Ability to analyse and report information.
- Evidence of ongoing professional development to maintain registration.
- Team player with ability to collaborate effectively.
- Self-starter with ability to work on their own initiative.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of an organization.
