Enable Ireland is seeking a Basic Grade Occupational Therapist to join their team in North Tipperary, providing services to children and families within a Family Centred Practice model of service.
Job Description
As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the post holder will be responsible for the provision of an occupational therapy service to include assessment, diagnostics, and intervention, and ongoing service delivery to children with a range of disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to children aged 0-18 years and families within the region
- Work across a variety of settings, including clinics, schools, preschools, and community settings
- Assess, diagnose, and develop interventions for children with disabilities
- Collaborate with other professionals to provide a comprehensive service
Requirements:
- Registration on the Occupational Therapists Register maintained by the Occupational Therapists Registration Board at CORU
- Requisite knowledge and ability for the proper discharge of the duties of the office
- Annual registration on the Occupational Therapists Register maintained by the Occupational Therapists Registration Board at CORU
Desirable Criteria:
- Postgraduate experience of working with children and families in a community-based setting
- Postgraduate experience working in disability services for a minimum of 6 months
