Staff Grade Occupational Therapist required for a 6-month contract in Laois, working with children with disabilities and their families, providing high-quality, family-centered services.

The Children's Disability Network Team (CDNT) provides innovative therapy, collaborative care, and compassionate support to enhance the lives of children with disabilities.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver tailored interventions and support for children with diverse needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of children's needs and abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote the child's development and participation in daily activities.
- Provide direct therapy services to children with disabilities.
- Educate and support families in understanding and addressing their child's needs.
- Collaborate with CDNT professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress.
- Participate in meetings and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices.
- Advocate for children and families to ensure their needs are met and their rights are respected.
Qualifications:
- BSc/MSc in Occupational Therapy.
- CORU registration as an Occupational Therapist.
- Experience working with children with disabilities is highly desirable.
- Strong clinical and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
