Occupational Therapist for Children's Disabilities: We seek a compassionate and forward-thinking Occupational Therapist to join our team in Co Laois, working with children with complex needs.
As an Occupational Therapist, you will be part of a Multidisciplinary Team providing services to children with disabilities. You will work closely with a professional team, with opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Hold a 3rd level qualification in Occupational Therapy from a 3rd level institution
- Experience and interest in sensory integration
- Fully registered with CORU
- Access to a car and a full, clean driving licence
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience of inter- or multidisciplinary work
- Ability to evaluate service needs and prioritise accordingly
- Experience in developing and presenting training for other professionals/carers
- Experience of working with children with disabilities and their families, especially those with Autism, Learning Disability, Physical and Sensory needs
