Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Administrator with a strong background in credit control to join our dynamic team. As an Office Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office and providing essential support across various departments. In addition, you will be responsible for managing our credit control processes to ensure timely payments and minimize bad debts.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage office facilities, including coordinating repairs and maintenance as needed.
  • Assist in scheduling meetings, organizing travel arrangements, and coordinating appointments.
  • Implement and maintain effective credit control policies and procedures.
  • Conduct credit checks and assess the creditworthiness of new and existing customers.
  • Monitor customer accounts for overdue payments and proactively follow up on outstanding invoices.
  • Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to resolve billing and payment discrepancies.
  • Negotiate payment plans and terms with delinquent customers.
  • Prepare regular reports on credit control activities and provide insights to management.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Office Administrator or similar administrative role.
  • Strong understanding of credit control principles and practices.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
  • Proficient in using office software, such as MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and accounting software.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • High level of professionalism and integrity.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: €21,000.00-€43,272.83 per year

Expected hours: 25 per week

Additional pay:

  • Commission pay
