AtkinsRéalis is seeking an Electrical Engineer/Onshore Substation Engineer with relevant experience to provide technical expertise in proposals and projects, and represent the company in client meetings.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing technical expertise in proposals and projects
- Representing the company in client meetings
- Completing physical engineering designs and generating professional plans and specifications
- Performing and executing technical calculations with supervision
- Collaborating with other disciplines and the project engineering team for structural and civil design requirements
- Respecting and enforcing policies and procedures in the preparation of drawings
- Realizing the different stages of the project within timeframes and budgets
The ideal candidate will have:
- Professionally qualified in electrical engineering, power engineering, or equivalent subject, degree and/or master's (or equivalent) level
- Chartered (CEng) or working towards gaining Chartership with a relevant institution
- Significant knowledge of OSW technology and projects along with a grounding in general power systems engineering
- Ability to demonstrate an understanding of OSW scheme design, project lifecycle, and practical considerations associated with OSW projects
- Ability to understand and communicate customer requirements, lead technical discussions with customers, and develop client relationships
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; experienced in creating and presenting technical reports and responding to clients' technical questions
