**Associate Director- Engineering & Project Engineering** **Job Summary:** Lead a team to design and manage an effective local capital delivery strategy, overseeing project delivery teams and ensuring safe execution of projects while promoting best practices and innovative solutions. **Job Description:** At Eli Lilly and Company, we are committed to making life better for people around the world. As an Associate Director- Engineering & Project Engineering, you will play a key role in shaping the company's engineering and project delivery strategy. **Key Responsibilities:** • Lead the execution of local capital projects required to deliver capacity/capability and business continuity • Develop effective capital management performance KPI's managing Safety, Quality, Budget, and Schedule • Promote and instill best practices for site capital project delivery program • Ensure adherence to Engineering and Procurement standards, technical and commercial with supplier and third-party relationships • Adopt innovative and efficient systems to support the capital delivery program • Support the site's digital vision and adoption of innovative new technologies to support Limericks next generation biologics site **People Management:** • Be a role model for team members in terms of performance and behaviors • Bring information to/from the team about relevant issues • Help people improve their performance and close performance gaps with appropriate training, professional development, and coaching interventions • Manage the professional development of Engineering Team **Site Management Role:** • Participate in site-wide management groups dealing with implementation of company policies and other people issues • Monitor and initiate opportunities to improve policy, and advise on how best to implement changes to policies or work practices • Take ownership for and support management decisions • Participate appropriately in site planning processes (e.g., capital and resource allocation) representing the interests of the team but with view to the overall "big picture" (i.e., the success of the site) • Manage collaborations, both formal and informal, between the team and other functional support groups **About the Company:** Eli Lilly and Company is a global healthcare leader headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana.
