Job Description
Cpl Healthcare seeks a Chief Perfusionist for its new Cardiothoracic service at a private Cork hospital.
The successful candidate will be part of Ireland's top private hospital network, delivering a range of healthcare specialties.
This is a pivotal role where the successful candidate will be responsible for the development, oversight, and coordination of Perfusion Services.
Key responsibilities include:
- Development and oversight of Perfusion Services, including clinical and operational activities, personnel, strategic planning, and fiscal activities.
- Coordination of Perfusion Services within the expanded Cardiothoracic Surgical Program.
Minimum Requirements:
- Accreditation and registration by the College of Clinical Perfusion Scientists of Great Britain and Ireland as a practising Clinical Perfusionist.
- 5 years' experience as a Clinical Perfusionist.
- Strong knowledge of cardiopulmonary bypass techniques, equipment, and procedures.
- Availability for on-call duties.
Desirable:
- Previous experience in a Senior or Deputy Chief Perfusionist role.
- Qualifications or completed course in a Management related discipline.
- MSc in a related Healthcare area.
