Data Architect job summary: Design, develop, and optimize data architecture to integrate diverse data sources, create efficient data pipelines, and build scalable data systems.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead data architecture design and development
- Integrate diverse data sources
- Create efficient data pipelines and ETL processes
- Design scalable, efficient, and secure data systems
- Ensure seamless data flow across the organization
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or related role
- Expertise in SQL and relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Experience with ETL tools and designing data pipelines (Apache Airflow, Talend)
- Strong understanding of data modelling, data governance, and metadata management
- Knowledge of big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark) a plus
