Job Description

Our client, a large law firm located in Dublin 2, is on the look out for a HR Executive. The role reports to the HR Director and is central to the administration of the firm's day-to-day HR operations.

Salary:
to €45k depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities


  • Promote a positive and open work environment where employees feel comfortable speaking with the HR Team while maintaining absolute confidentiality.
  • Provide pro-active administrative support across key HR practice areas.
  • Input, update and maintain data.
  • Maintain and update the HR sections of the Firm's website and intranet.
  • Assist with the on-boarding of new employees.
  • Manage the firm's Travel Pass and Cycle to Work schemes.
  • Co-ordinate all leave activity within the Firm.
  • Manage the leavers process.

Prepare and issue:
monthly, quarterly and annual data reports, standard letters and any other general HR reports and documentation as required.

  • Partner with others in HR to review, design and communicate HR policies and procedures.
  • Provide support for HR projects and new initiatives.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience Required


  • A minimum of four years' experience in a similar HR role with experience preferably having been gained in a corporate or professional services environment.
This is a busy, highly-visible role and the successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following:


  • Excellent command of English with a strong focus on accuracy and an excellent eye for detail.
  • High level of computer proficiency.
  • Strong organisational, analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • The ability to identify and implement changes and improvements to policies and procedures.
  • A very good ability to work under pressure, to meet tight deadlines and to manage competing priorities effectively and efficiently.
  • Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team as appropriate.
  • Positivity and a good ability to listen carefully, interact appropriately and show empathy and understanding.
