Job Description
Lead a team in implementing best practice in management reporting, performance measurement, and financial forecasting for PTSB, Ireland's leading retail and SME bank.
- Manage the annual budget, forecasts, and medium-term plan, collaborating with the business and Senior Leadership to align strategies with organisational goals.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the Irish banking market, including regulatory changes, economic trends, and competitive landscape.
- Communicate effectively with the team, ensuring they understand the strategy and their role in achieving it.
- Proven experience in Retail and Business Banking, with a strong understanding of the Irish banking market and excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong commercial capability, financial foresight, and business acumen, with the ability to build relationships and work effectively with key stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with 5+ years PQE and significant experience in interpreting financial information.
- Proven experience in business leadership, influencing, and informing decision making through high-quality financial information.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial insights to non-financial stakeholders.
- Strong organisational and analytical capabilities, with a good working knowledge of best practice financial processes and systems.
- Proven leadership skills, demonstrating credibility to build relationships and work effectively with key stakeholders.
