Job Description
Part Qualified Accountant or Assistant Accountant sought for a leading FMCG company in Northwest Dublin, with a strong focus on financial reporting and analysis.
The role involves supporting the Senior Accountant in preparing quarterly and monthly management accounts, as well as performing period-end routines, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the preparation of quarterly and monthly management accounts for multiple sites
- Performing period-end routines and journal entries across multiple sites
- Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and group reporting
- Completing interim and year-end audits in accordance with tight deadlines
- Identifying and assessing risks and inefficiencies throughout the business
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2-3 years accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of debits and credits
- Part Qualified Accountant (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or relevant experience
- Ambitious self-starter with a positive attitude and a desire to progress within the organisation
- Hard working and ambitious
- Attention to detail with strong financial and analytical skills
- Experience in working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to plan and prioritise workloads to agreed deadlines
- Strong communication skills with all levels of stakeholders
