Job Description
Production Supervisor required for Cork-based Chemical Producer Company to lead team and ensure best practice in continuous improvement environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead team of Production operators and service personnel to ensure department operates to best practice
- Work with Day Production Supervisor on process optimization, troubleshooting and production related projects
- Assist Production Manager with daily responsibilities
- Permit writing within Production department
- Asset effectiveness and SAP data collection and analysis
- Training, development and management of shift production personnel
- Supervise shift team(s) and ensure compliance with all Company policies and procedures
Requirements:
- 5 years experience working in Technical Production Environment (e.g. Refinery, Chemical, Process or Machinery Manufacturing)
- A level 7 in Bachelor of Science/Engineering or relevant qualification (Chemical Production linked or related technical discipline)
- Supervisory experience desirable, although not mandatory
- Demonstrated command of English language, both oral and written
- EHS specific topics (e.g. occupation safety, process safety, Hazard Identification Risk Assessments and Standard Operating Procedures)
- Production processes (e.g. Machinery)
- Microsoft Office, Asset Effectiveness and SAP
- Team leading skills
- Ability to understand technical information and documentation
