Job Description

The Store Manager will be responsible for a team of employees, driving turnover and revenue in the Mitchelstown store, Co Dublin. Key responsibilities include supervising financial KPIs, customer service, and internal audits. The ideal candidate will have retail experience, motivational leadership skills, and a passion for coaching and developing team members. They will be responsible for building relationships with the local community and meeting sales targets.

Key Duties:

  • Meet and exceed ongoing retail store sales targets.
  • Ensure visual merchandising standards are attractive and in line with weekly changes.
  • Recruit and develop staff, volunteers, and social activation scheme employees.
  • Ensure adequate staffing cover at all times.
  • Manage donated goods, including pricing, ticketing, cleaning, and stock rotation.
  • Manage shop accounting procedures, including banking and till receipts.
  • Take an active lead in store and community-based fundraising events.
  • Promote the Vision Ireland brand through local channels.
  • Ensure health and safety standards are met.
