**Senior Research Engineer**
Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a talented Senior Research Engineer to lead the development of tools that accelerate science experimentation and delivery.
- Define and lead the development of tools to accelerate science experimentation and delivery.
- Design and guide the science team's implementation of proof of concepts to decide the ultimate science solution strategy.
- Advise and drive implementation for research projects and act as a bridge between science and engineering.
- Lead other research engineers in their day-to-day activities.
- Implement code for training and evaluation, and apply and adapt known science methods.

Minimum Qualifications
- 6+ years of full software development life cycle experience.
- 4+ years of leading design or architecture of new and existing systems experience.
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team.
- Experience programming with at least one modern language.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in computer science or equivalent.
