Job Description
Enhance and support the Integrated Developer Platform (IDP) as a Back-End Developer, working on a Hybrid daily rate contract in Dublin. Key responsibilities include maintaining existing Groovy scripts, designing automation solutions, and managing deployment to production environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain, optimize, and troubleshoot existing Groovy scripts for Jira and Confluence.
- Design, develop, and implement new automation solutions based on customer requirements.
- Identify, propose, and drive improvements to the current automation framework.
- Oversee and manage the deployment of changes to production environments.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience with Java or Groovy, and intermediate level skills or above.
- Experience in front-end web technologies including JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and XML.
- Solid understanding of HTTP protocol and REST API principles.
- Strong SQL skills for database management, querying, and optimization tasks.
- Familiarity with concepts related to multithreaded applications, synchronous/asynchronous connections, performance code optimization, and design patterns.
Desirable Skills:
- Practical experience in using and automating processes within Jira, Confluence, and BitBucket, particularly with Groovy scripting.
