Job Description

Wind energy has been identified as a key part of the clients strategy to increase renewable generation capacity to 5GW by 2030. Projects are expected to be developed from a number of sources including development opportunities and acquisitions. Due to an increase in the volume of work associated with this Programme of projects, the position has risen for an Onshore Wind Project Manager in Renewable Projects Development (RPO). The role is hybrid working with the natural attendance to site and into the clients Dublin office when required. Key Responsibilities Leading a project team in the delivery of wind farm projects from early development phase through to construction and compliance testing. Supporting the Asset Development Team on achieving viable routes to market for projects such as PPA and CFO Auction process. Maintain an accurate resource requirement plan to deliver on commitments and work collaboratively with other teams to obtain the necessary resources and input to the company Strategic Resource Plan. Support the development and continuous improvement of expertise and skills within the UK onshore team. Take responsibility for project health and safety and lead the implementation of COM, PSDP or Principal Designer processes across the projects. Qualifications Essential A recognised degree level/ third level qualification in engineering Desirable Masters in engineering or related discipline. Chartered Engineer status with a recognised engineering institution or demonstrate evidence of progression towards same. Project Management qualification/ certification. Knowledge, Skills and Experience Essential Seven or more years relevant post-qualification experience. Excellent leadership skills coupled with a track record in delivering large complex projects, with relevant experience in managing engineering and project teams. A strong understanding of the commercial and technical aspects of project design and construction. A demonstrable record in the development of health and safety capabilities and their application to large-scale projects including a thorough understanding of COM.
