Job Description
Our client is a privately owned entrepreneurial investment firm operating across Europe and the US. The firm invests in a wide range of sectors and is currently driving a significant transformation programme across the group. They are looking to hire an Operational Risk Manager to work alongside the Group Head of Risk. This individual will take ownership to develop an operational risk framework and be the lead manager on the design and roll out of investment and strategic risk across the group. Part of your role will be to work on investment risk - however, this is a smaller percentage of your time. This is a highly visible role within the firm, where you are tasked to strategically implement risk governance plans and work closely with their senior leadership team and the board.The CandidateMin 10 years’ experience in operational risk in an agile investment firmSome exposure to fund/investment riskPrior experience delivering a risk transformation programmeDetailed knowledge of risk management practices with some knowledge of modelling, scenario analysis and risk mitigationDemonstrable experience with modern risk tools, decisioning systems & AIExposure to public and private markets would be idealAbility to be “hands-on” and strategic in a leadership roleGravitas and ability to communicate, influence and engage with senior executives across multiple locations #J-18808-Ljbffr
