The main purpose of the role is to support the Gas Testing Operations and contribute to the continued growth of SGS Gas Analysis Services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day administration supporting the existing team, ensuring the delivery of exceptional service to our clients.

The role is based at our offices in Rathnew Co. Wicklow.

Job Description
  • Administration support to IRL & UK Gas Testing operations.
  • Responsible for scheduling client visits/jobs via RGC (Job management software) to include, P.O upload, job opening, monitoring of labour hours and invoicing.
  • Complete risk assessment and method statements for site jobs being completed.
  • Ensure purchase orders are in place to allow efficient invoicing of jobs.
  • Complete invoicing of jobs within the required timeframe.
  • Ensure all company data is up-to-date on customer portals in adherence to Health & Safety standards and account requirements.
  • Participate in operational meetings ensuring all information is prepared and available.
  • Collaborate with the GAS Testing Manager ensuring that each member of the Team is assigned the correct jobs for completion; including cover if a member of the Team is on leave.
  • Liaise with the equipment officer and ensure equipment is available for engineers to complete jobs when required.
  • Complete all shipping requirements needed for the operation of the Gas Testing operations.
  • Support the GAS Testing Manager in the drafting of quotations, contracts and vendor approval questionnaires when required.
  • Liaise with Sales and Quality departments when required with operation information.
  • Procurement of routine spares and consumables as required for projects and/or day-to-day site works.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all customers are duly supported and any queries are responded to in a timely manner.
  • Work effectively and cooperatively with other staff members.
  • Develop open, honest, and respectful relationships with others and foster good working relationships within the team.
  • At all times handle information confidentially and in line with data protection laws.
  • Constantly maintain the culture of the Company incorporating the values of the Company.

  • An administration qualification or relevant experience.
  • High level competency in Microsoft Office Suite products.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
