**Operations Analyst Dublin 6 months** **Job Summary:** Experienced Operations Analyst sought to support Debt Trades Processing and Settlement group in Dublin, working closely with Sales Trading Desks and client relationship managers. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic team, facing off with various business lines and gaining exposure to multiple systems. As a key member of the EMEA FICC Transaction Services Team, you will provide primary middle/back office support for various London Desks, covering the trade life cycle from execution to confirmation. **Responsibilities:** * Booking of trade allocations and monitoring client confirmations * Resolution and escalation of unmatched trades for EMEA Clients settling in the European markets * Providing Support for the London Sales Desk * Managing client communications and queries * Timely response to client queries regarding the settlement of their trades * Problem escalation to product specialists and technical support teams * Establishing good working relationships internally with the front office, sales teams, middle and back office teams * Resolving economic discrepancies to eliminate market risk * Client Fails Reporting * Developing and maintaining procedures * Ensuring compliance with target control standards * Providing internal and external training where required **Requirements:** * Highly motivated and self-starter with the initiative and drive to come into an area and learn quickly * Good experience of time management and prioritization * Ability to work under pressure and maintain high standards when dealing with tight deadlines, high volumes and demanding trading desks and clients * Client facing experience or ability to conduct discussions with clients in a confident manner * Clear communicator with both internal departments and external clients / counterparties * Ability to demonstrate problem solving skills, manage and resolve queries independently * Strong teamwork skills * Excellent Client focus - ability to build strong relations with internal and external clients to provide top tier client service * Ability to liaise with all levels of the firm and people with different experiences and backgrounds * Attention to detail and market deadlines * Competent Excel skills and the ability to manipulate data **Desirable:** * Market related experience with knowledge of Fixed Income * Understanding of the front to back securities trade flow * Previous experience of working in an Operations environment * Knowledge of Vendor platforms such as OMGEO CTM and Bloomberg * Previous experience within a client service team * Knowledge of Operational Risk, Client Money Protection and Funding * Knowledge of the workings of EMEA markets e.g. buy-in risks, settlement fines, market nuances * Experience of working with salespeople / traders.
