Operations Analyst Dublin 6 months This role is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to work in a dynamic team as part of the Debt Trades Processing and Settlement group. The team provides support to various Fixed Income Trading Desks who trade across global markets for EMEA based clients. The role involves facing off with many different business lines, gaining exposure to a multitude of systems. point of contact for EMEA institutional client base for trade allocation, confirmation, and settlement related queries within BAML across product, market, entity, trade status. opportunity to play a key role supporting our Sales Trading Desks as well as working closely with our client relationship managers. The successful candidate will be pro-active with an analytical approach to work. The individual will have excellent communication skills, Up to date market knowledge on key initiatives and developments within the clearing and settlement space is preferable This role is specific to our EMEA FICC Transaction Services Team and we provide primary middle/back office support for a variety of London Desks including Credit, Rates, Distressed, Repo and Emerging Markets etc. The trade life cycle is covered from execution to confirmation. Responsibilities Booking of trade allocations and monitoring client confirmations Resolution and escalation unmatched trades for EMEA Clients settling in the European markets Providing Support for the London Sales Desk Managing client communications and queries Timely response to client queries regarding the settlement of their trades Problem escalation to product specialists and technical support teams Establish good working relationships internally with the front office, sales teams, middle and back office teams to ensure timely resolution of client allocation/fails Resolve economic discrepancies to eliminate market risk Client Fails Reporting Develop and maintain procedures Ensure compliance with target control standards Provide internal and external training where required. Requirements Highly motivated strong self-starter who has the initiative and drive to come into an area and learn quickly and progress and a good experience of time management Must be able to prioritise and work to deadlines and ensure queries resolved in a timely manner. Ability to work under pressure and maintain high standards when dealing with tight deadlines, high volumes and demanding trading desks and clients. Client facing experience or ability to conduct discussions with clients in a confident manner.
