**Operations Director at Mercy University Hospital** Summary: Lead clinical and non-clinical teams to deliver high-quality services, drive performance improvements, and implement strategic plans to enhance patient care and hospital operations. Mercy University Hospital, a Section 38 Voluntary Hospital, is seeking an experienced Operations Director to join its Executive Management Board. The hospital, founded in 1857, provides complex diagnostic, medical, and surgical services to over 140,000 patients annually. **About the Role** The Operations Director will be responsible for leading clinical and non-clinical support teams in delivering excellent services to patients. Key responsibilities include: * Leading day-to-day operations management and driving performance improvements across various subspecialty services * Developing and implementing clinical service redesign and improvement initiatives * Ensuring the safety, quality, and efficiency of services to support excellent patient care * Promoting the hospital's shared organisational vision and strategic aims, values, and culture * Leading clinical and non-clinical support departments, including Health and Social Care Professions, Healthcare Records & Administrative Services, and General Support Services **Requirements** * Significant experience working at a senior management level in a large complex healthcare organisation * Experience of developing and applying agreement and performance tracking structures * Highly developed knowledge of managing multi-disciplinary professional teams * Experience of People/Performance management & budgetary Management * Operational planning and implementation, including strategic planning and options appraisal * Relevant third-level qualification of at least level 8 on the National Qualifications Framework **Skills** * Stakeholder Management * People Management * Level 8 Academic Award
