Operations Engineer for Life Sciences company in Clonmel, responsible for ensuring operational readiness and developing SOPs for manufacturing and R&D facilities.

Our Partner in the Clonmel area develops and supplies active ingredients and final formulated product for innovative medicines at its manufacturing and R&D facilities.

The plant exports to over 25 countries, with primary markets in Europe, USA, and Japan.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Operational Readiness program to ensure all requirements are met for successful start-up.
• Develop, review, and approve SOPs and SWIs for Operations.
• Represent Operations on Commissioning and Qualification of Continuous Manufacturing Module.
• Represent Operations on Containment Verification Team, ensuring containment verification steps align with operations procedures.
• Develop necessary training programs.
• Complete safety permitting approvals for High-Risk work.

Requirements:

• Hold a Third Level qualification in Manufacturing, Engineering, or Science discipline.
• Minimum 5 years industrial experience.
• Lean Six Sigma Certification an advantage.
• SAP/MES knowledge/experience.
