Operations Engineer - Life Sciences role involves leading operational readiness, developing SOPs, and ensuring containment verification steps are aligned with operations procedures.
Our Partner in the Clonmel area develops and supplies active ingredients and final formulated product for innovative medicines at its manufacturing and R&D facilities.
The plant, which has been operating for over 40 years, exports to over 25 countries around the world with primary markets being Europe, USA, and Japan.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Operational Readiness program to ensure all requirements from each business function are met for successful start-up.
- Develop, review, and approve all SOPs/ SWIs for Operations.
- Operations representative on Commissioning and Qualification of Continuous Manufacturing Module.
- Operations Representative on Containment Verification Team, ensuring containment verification steps are aligned with operations procedures.
- Develop the necessary training programs.
- Complete all safety permitting approvals for High-Risk work.
Requirements:
- Hold a Third Level qualification in Manufacturing, Engineering, or Science discipline OR, Relevant Manufacturing Formulation experience, preferably in potent formulation.
- Minimum 5 years industrial experience.
- Lean Six Sigma Certification an advantage.
- SAP/MES knowledge/experience.
