Innovative and passionate Operations Manager required for this boutique four star, accommodation available This luxury boutique property in Co Clare prides itself on creating amazing guest experiences rooted in sustainability, innovation and unmatchable hospitality. They now seek an Operations Managerwho embodies these values and will lead from the front, acting as the face of the hotel. Key responsibilities: Full responsibility for day-to-day hotel operations ensuring vision, mission and core values are followed through to the guest. Be the face of the hotel, meeting and greeting as many guests as possible and ensuring they make magic memories. Be a role model for the team, leading by example in terms of customer service, work ethic, honesty, humour & fairness. Develop and implement standards and policies to achieve consistent excellent service across all departments. Achieve budgeted sales and profitability, monitoring costs, in particular wage costs and Food & Beverage GP%s. Recruitment, training and staff retention. Collaborate with all department heads to optimize workflows. Monitor and analyze guest satisfaction surveys and reviews, implementing improvements as needed. Handle guest concerns and complaints with professionalism and a commitment to resolution. Manage and optimize hotel budgets, controlling expenses and maximizing revenue Train, motivate, and lead a diverse team to deliver exceptional service and uphold standards Ensure compliance with all health and safety and food safety regulations, conducting regular inspections. Develop and maintain positive relationships with vendors, suppliers, and local businesses. Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to drive continuous improvement. Assist in promotional and marketing activities as required, including content for social media. Chair weekly Heads of Department meeting and ensure excellent communication throughout the team. The ideal candidate: Minimum of five years experience in a senior hospitality management role in a quality property with a proven track record of service excellence. Passion for sustainability and social enterprise. Budgeting and financial management expertise. Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and optimize operational efficiency. Confident leader, team motivator and communicator with proven ability to foster a positive and collaborative work environment. Organised and strategic mindset. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices. Flexibility to work irregular hours, weekends, and holidays as needed. Strong IT skills (hotel management software, MS Office etc). Good craic and sense of humour!
