A dynamic food distribution company seeks an Operations Manager to lead the Warehouse & Logistics teams in Dublin North, with a salary of €70-75K.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee Operational processes and operations to ensure productivity and quality.
- Ensure processes are accurately documented, reviewed and maintained.
- Develop long-term plans to support the company's goals.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings, service improvements and process improvements within the department.
- Lead and empower team members, providing coaching, mentorship and a safe learning environment.
- Inspire and motivate employees through positive encouragement and incentive initiatives.
- Ensure effective communication within the Operations department and with other departments and management teams.
- Analyse departmental budgets to find ways to optimise.
- Identify opportunities to expand or shift course based on market changes.
- Enforce regulatory and safety standards, including HACCP & Fleet Maintenance.
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the food distribution industry.
- Hold a Third level (Bachelors') Degree in Business, Supply Chain or a food related discipline.
- Previous experience in the FMCG or similar industry.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong relationships with suppliers and colleagues.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with a focus on team building.
- Enjoy problem solving and finding solutions.
- Full, clean drivers' licence.
- Legal right to work in Ireland and current residence in Ireland.
- Ability to commute to the office in Dublin daily for on-site work.
This is a Monday to Friday role with set hours of 0830-1700, with occasional out of hours calls.
Candidates must have valid EU work permit and currently reside within commuting distance of Dublin 11.
