Operations Manager - Poultry Factory - Monaghan Based - FMCG - Monday to Friday People HQ is recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading poultry processing company, for an Operations Manager to join their Monaghan-based factory. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to oversee production operations, focusing on breaded and frying lines while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities: * Lead and manage the production team to meet and exceed daily targets, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency standards are consistently achieved. * Oversee breaded and frying lines, ensuring production schedules are met and compliance with safety and quality standards is maintained. * Drive continuous improvement initiatives to maximize operational effectiveness and efficiencies through the development of people, processes, and systems. * Coach, develop, and manage staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and high performance. * Analyse production data to identify areas for improvement, implementing corrective actions to optimize productivity. * Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless and efficient factory operations. Ideal Candidate: * Proven experience in an Operations Team Leader / Shift Manager / Production Manager or similar role within an FMCG environment, ideally within poultry or food processing, with specific exposure to breaded and frying lines. * Strong leadership skills with a track record of successfully managing teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. * Demonstrated ability to implement continuous improvement methodologies and drive performance through innovative problem-solving. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate staff at all levels. * Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with experience in using production data to drive improvements.
