Job Description

Operational Program Manager for a leading audio entertainment company in North America, responsible for managing production services operations and ensuring operational excellence.

The company's platforms reach approximately 150 million listeners, delivering music, sports, talk, news, comedy, entertainment, and podcasts.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of program management, including product definition and ownership, service definition and delivery, and operational implementation.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute enterprise-wide release management, including preparing ceremonies with engineering and product for discovery, definition, planning, and implementation review.
  • Collaborate with the Product Operations team in launch operations execution, planning/process standardization, and communications/learnings.
  • Partner with product, engineering, IT, and Security to define and maintain service level configuration database to provide reference for incident resolution and release communications.
  • Execute enterprise-wide incident command to drive resolution for production disruptions, and review model that improves upon technical issue resolution and stakeholder response.
  • Execute problem management, including identifying root cause of incidents and partnering with engineering to implement preventative measures.
  • Improve program focus on ensuring operational excellence and maturity at scale.
  • Drive a culture of innovation and be an agent of change.
  • Cultivate a culture that rewards aggressive pursuit of innovative solutions to problems.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 2-4 years of program management for operational enablement.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the expectation of preparation and presentation to executive leadership.
  • Ability to lead team meetings with a clear agenda, goals/objectives, and detailed follow-up.
