Operations Support Representative Biotech Operations
Our client, a leading biopharmaceutical company in Cork, is seeking an Operations Support Representative to join their team on a 12-month contract basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, generate and update facility/process procedures and logbooks.
- Support training activities and promote a safety and quality culture in operations.
- Design, generate and update Production Master Batch Records.
- Monitor and investigate building alarms.
- Own and improve business processes, including electronic logbooks.
- Support Kanban management and cycle counting.
- Liaise with vendors for equipment and consumables.
- Support protocol executions and daily operations.
- Coordinate sample activities and facility safety and GMP walkthroughs.
Requirements:
- Relevant science or engineering 3rd level qualification.
- Knowledge of biotech production operations is an advantage.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality in the workplace.
- Good planning and organisational skills, ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- Strong sense of customer focus and teamwork.
- Intermediate level PC/IT skills (Word & Excel).
- Excellent attention to detail and willingness to collaborate with work colleagues.
