An Operations Support Representative Biotech Operations is required on an initial 12 Month basis by CareerWise Recruitment for our Cork based Biopharmaceutical Client. THE ROLE: Design, generate and update facility/process procedures and logbooks. Support training activities if required. Design, generate and update Production Master Batch Records Promote safety and quality culture in operations Building Alarm monitoring and investigation if required. Ownership of improvement and sustaining business process e.g. electronic logbooks Involvement with materials management to support Kanban management and cycle counting. Ownership of facility GMP readiness Support product changeovers Liaising with vendors for equipment and consumables including return of damaged goods. Support protocol executions. Assist with daily operations when required. Co-ordinate sample activities. Support facility safety and GMP walkthroughs REQUIREMENTS: Relevant science or engineering 3rd level qualification. Knowledge of biotech production operations is useful but may also be suitable for those with experience looking to change industries Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality in the workplace. Demonstrated good planning and organisational skills, ability to prioritise tasks, commitment to task completion and timelines. Demonstrated strong communication skills oral and written. Strong sense of customer focus and teamwork. (Ability to deal with unexpected issues in a constructive and collaborative way). Intermediate level PC/IT skills (Word & Excel).
