Job Description
As a dedicated Optometrist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and service, completing eye examinations, and working alongside our Dispensing Optician Manager to support training and coaching.
We are seeking a skilled candidate who is eager to contribute to our store's excellent service levels, foster positive relationships within our team and the wider community, and use clinical skills and passion for the role to deliver a memorable customer experience.
Key responsibilities include:
- Completing eye examinations, contact lens, and extended service examinations
- Working alongside our Dispensing Optician Manager to support training, coaching, and maintaining departmental standards
- Delivering a wide range of care for the treatment and monitoring of eye conditions
- Supporting the development of new patient services and shaping the culture of the department
Requirements:
- Fully qualified optometrist registered with the General Optical Council (GOC)
- Registered performer with your NHS area team or health board
- MECs or WECs accredited (or willing to gain accreditation within 12 months)
- On track to meet the statutory points requirement for CPD
