Role Overview: Contract Duration: 6-month contract with potential for extension based on project needs. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with business users to define application requirements and specifications. Design, develop, and implement applications based on business-driven criteria. Actively contribute to various Software Development projects within the organization. Provide technical support to business users, troubleshooting and resolving issues as needed. Skills and Experience: Oracle PL/SQL Expertise: Minimum of 5 years of experience working as an Oracle PL/SQL Developer (Oracle 19). Database Design & Modelling: Strong knowledge and experience in database design and modelling. Advantageous Skills: Experience with PowerBuilder is a plus. Development Lifecycle: Familiarity with all stages of the software development life cycle, particularly using iterative practices like DevOps. Desirable Skills: Basic understanding of REST APIs, Node.JS, and JSON is beneficial. Non-Technical Skills: Business Acumen: The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented and have a strong focus on aligning technical solutions with business goals. Team Collaboration: Motivated and enthusiastic, capable of working in a close-knit team environment while setting and meeting clear objectives. Problem Solving & Creativity: Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose user problems and offer creative, effective solutions. Communication Skills: Strong communication abilities, enabling the candidate to liaise effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
