About the Role:
The firm is seeking a part-qualified accountant to join its Outsourcing Team, working in a hybrid environment with a base in the Birr office. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to work with domestic, foreign direct investment (FDI), and public sector clients, and is part of a growing area within the firm. The position is full-time, but flexible working arrangements or part-time candidates will be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing a portfolio of compliance clients, including the preparation and review of sole trader accounts and statutory financial statements
- Preparing monthly management accounts
- Assisting with tax and general consulting matters for clients
- Supporting the management of the client portfolio and providing ad-hoc assistance as needed
- Helping with the commercial management of the unit
About the Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will:
- Be part-qualified with at least one year of experience in a busy accounting environment
- Possess strong technical, analytical, and interpersonal skills, with keen attention to detail
- Have excellent communication skills and a flexible, team-oriented approach
- Be capable of working independently and completing work for partner/manager review
- Prior practice experience is preferred but not essential
- A full, clean Irish/International driver's license is desirable, as there may be occasional travel to client premises
