Packing/Manufacturing Co-Ordinator

Our client, a leading global healthcare company, is seeking a Packing/Manufacturing Co-Ordinator to join their team on a 12-month contract.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete production paperwork, including opening and closing work order documentation.
  • Review batch files, sign off, and maintain the MCS system to optimize product flow and inventory levels.
  • Implement the plant CAPA system and investigate ERs in line with RUBRIC standards.
  • Track corrective actions and preventative action plans to ensure effectiveness and implementation.
  • Support statistical sampling, plant audits, and maintain Quality & Manufacturing Key Performance Indicators.
  • Support business excellence projects and plant CIP targets.
  • Monitor performance versus plan and take corrective action to meet financial targets.
  • Participate in production teams and plant cross-functional teams.
  • Support management of materials and finished goods in compliance with established policies and practices.
  • Maintain all applicable records at required accuracy levels.
  • Monitor department conditions, including temperature, access, pest controls, and general housekeeping.
  • Support the manager in developing and organizing training and development for employees.
  • Be responsible for scheduling the workload of the area to ensure production schedules are achieved.

Requirements:

  • Third-level qualification in a Dairy/Food Science, Business, or Engineering related discipline or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years technical experience in a Dairy Food or Pharmaceutical Industry.
  • Experience of manufacturing environment is essential.
  • Ability to schedule production activities, evaluate quality problems, and make decisions based on information available.
  • Good problem-solving skills are essential for meeting compliance, quality, safety standards, and manufacturing schedules.
