Seeking a skilled professional to provide business advisory, accounting, audit, and tax services to a diverse client base.
GPC Finance is working with a reputable firm in Cork, offering a brilliant opportunity to develop skills in a client-facing and varied General Practice role.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with full cycle client management across accounts, tax, and audit.
- Run reports and prepare analyses to support management.
- Complete and file VAT and tax returns.
- Assist in the preparation for and completion of company audits.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients.
- Provide advice to clients on tax planning and efficiencies.
- Assist with the preparation of customer statements to ensure customer accounts are up to date.
- Assist with the month-end and year-end close process, preparing reconciliation and financial analysis files for review by management.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts and compile reports of monthly financial results.
Ideal Candidate:
- Working towards completion of ACA, ACCA, CPA.
- 2+ years' experience in a similar role.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with a good level of numerical, logical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with various IT systems, good Excel skills, and an understanding of accounting software.
