Brilliant opportunity for a Part-Qualified Accountant to join an established 3 partner chartered accountancy firm based Co. Meath. With an impressive database of clients, they have been providing quality chartered accountancy services for over 30 years. The Part Qualified Accountant will have access to a broad range of clients both in terms of audit, non-audit, sole trader etc. and in terms of industry/sector type. Salary & Benefits: €35,000 - €40,000 DOE Performance Bonus Full study package CPD Hybrid work (Monday & Friday from home) Responsibilities: Preparation of year end non-audit company accounts and working papers to review stage Ability to reconcile balance sheet items including VAT, Payroll, leases, hire purchases and fixed assets Solid understanding of accounting principles and familiarity of posting journals onto accounting software Assist with the preparation of management accounts Preparation of statutory financial statements in line with agreed deadlines, ability to follow checklists, procedures and process requirements Assist with year-end close out and year end journals Preparation of Corporation Tax Returns Liaising with clients confident in dealing with clients over the phone and through written correspondence Assisting manager on special client assignments Candidate Qualities: Part Qualified Accountant ACA/ACCA Minimum 2 plus years general accounting practice experience Strong technical abilities Strong financial acumen and the ability to perform a hands-on role Excellent written and spoken English Ability to work on own initiative If you are a Part-Qualified Accountant looking for a change, please send your CV to and we can arrange a confidential discussion.
