Your new company The successful candidate will assist with financial reporting, budgeting, and general accounting tasks while continuing their professional development towards full qualification Your new role Assist with the preparation and maintenance of financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensuring timely and accurate payments and collections. Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports. Support the Finance Manager in the analysis of financial data and the preparation of financial forecasts. Help in the preparation and consolidation of departmental budgets. Monitor budget variances and assist in the preparation of variance analysis reports. Perform regular bank reconciliations and ensure discrepancies are identified and resolved promptly. Assist in the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and the maintenance of accurate records. Provide support during internal and external audits by preparing required documentation and responding to audit inquiries. Assist in implementing audit recommendations and improving internal controls. Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards. Assist in the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings. Collaborate with other members of the finance team to ensure smooth financial operations. Provide support to the Finance Manager and other team members as needed. Actively pursue further professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA). Stay updated with current accounting standards and best practices.
