Our client, a highly regarded Not for Profit organisation based in Clondalkin, is currently looking to recruit an experienced Accountant to join their team on a part time basis. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role will be 20 hours a week and can be done over 5 mornings or 3 days with a hybrid working model offered. Core Functions: To monitor and report on a divisional Expenditure on a monthly basis Actual versus Budget versus Forecast versus prior year (this will involve interaction with Operations personnel and other internal stakeholders as well as approved Funded Operators) To provide monthly forecasts of divisional expenditure and including full analysis of all variances To support the timely and accurate production of other financial management information as required to support the business To assist in annual budget setting To oversee preparation of monthly payments to Operators Conducting on site audits to verify claims made by Operators In conjunction with IT Department, development of reports, dashboards etc. to assist in monitoring Operator claims and associated expenditure The Person: A third level business degree is desirable but not essential Qualified Accountant with minimum 2 years post qualification experience in practice with strong exposure to conducting audits Strong communication, team management, interpersonal and communication skills Excellent written and presentation skills Strong IT skills particularly in MS Office, MS Dynamics CRM, Power BI and Microsoft Business Central skills a distinct advantage Strong analytical, budgeting and forecasting skills to interrogate financial data and deliver effective advice and recommendations Strong team player with an ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders to deliver solutions and results Full clean driving licence This is a lovely opportunity to join a worthwhile organisation.
