Job Description

I am working with a key client in Cork on their requirement for a detail-oriented and friendly Administrative Assistant to support daily operations on a part time basis.

This role involves a variety of administrative tasks, ensuring a welcoming environment for visitors and efficient office management.

Temporary contract up to Christmas with possibility of extension


Location:
Little Island

Working hours: 8:30 am to 1:30pm or 8:00 - 1pm (4 days per week)


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage purchase orders and maintain inventory of stationery and office supplies.
  • Oversee reception duties, greeting visitors and employees with a warm and professional demeanour.
  • Handle incoming phone calls and emails, addressing inquiries and redirecting as necessary.
  • Organise and manage outgoing and incoming postage.
  • Assist in archiving documents and maintaining organized filing systems.
  • Coordinate bookings with vendors and service providers as needed.
  • Arrange lunches and guest passes for visitors.
  • Perform ad hoc administrative duties to support team needs.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in an administrative or reception role is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to multitask and work independently in a fastpaced environment.
