Part Time Company Accountant Job In Cavan

Part-time Company Accountant role in Cavan, Ireland, with a salary of €38,000 - €55,000 Pro Rata, benefits including bonus and pension, and opportunities for personal and career development.

Reporting into the Commercial Controller, you will work as part of a team of 4 and be responsible for production reporting, weekly accounts, reconciliations, and report analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Perform monthly accounts reconciliations.
• Execute general queries and tasks within the ERP system.
• Compile CSO reports.
• Reconcile and follow up on external cold storage reports.
• Post journal entries for financial accounts.
• Maintain and update the weekly KPI dashboard.
• Generate standard usage variance reports.
• Prepare and review production reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
• Input and review project data.
• Reconcile and review stock levels.
• Update data in the financial reporting system.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• At least 3-5 years of experience working in an accounting role.
• Qualified (ACA/ACCA or CIMA) Accountant.
• Strong systems experience required - experience with Navision and Pio Sys is an advantage.
• Comfortable working with large data sets.
• High level Excel skills required (pivot tables, exporting data into Excel and analysing).
