Job Description
Deliver recreational academy programmes, birthday party products, seasonal camps and schools products to the highest standards in a safe and welcoming environment.
Responsibilities:
- Coach recreational academy sessions across various sports, lead school holiday camps and birthday party products.
- Provide high standard delivery to all levels of sports programmes.
- Support Recreational Programme Manager and other Coaches in programme development and high quality service delivery.
- Maintain updated records for participants as needed.
Health and Safety:
- Apply and adhere to Health and Safety rules and procedures at all times.
- Provide accurate and detailed safety information to customers as needed.
- Ensure equipment is in working order and the area is safe for use prior to each session.
- Report safeguarding concerns immediately to the Child Protection Officer.
Technical Responsibilities:
- Keep up to date with Sports industry teaching and coaching developments.
- Attend training courses as required.
- Continuously improve knowledge and skills to remain updated on coaching practices and trends.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum age 18 years old.
- Previous experience working with children and in a Customer Service/Leisure Centre environment.
- Working towards third level Sports management/Fitness and leisure/Sports business or similar.
