I am looking to speak to a qualified or partly-qualified accountant looking to join a major international company based in Dublin.Role: Accountant - French SpeakingThis is an exciting opportunity for anyone who is a strong communicator looking to accelerate their career within a fast-paced environment, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and have the sense of initiative to work independently.In this position, you will be given the opportunity to problem-solve and drive process improvements as well as be involved with a system migration.Responsibilities and tasksReview and preparation of monthly reconciliations & journals to ensure high-quality compliance with US GAAP.Responsibility for the monthly general ledger close activities for US GAAP.Maintain and develop relationships with key stakeholders and provide information and support as needed.Ensure timely completion of Internal and External audits.Skills and CompetenciesFluent English and French.Accounting Qualification or part qualified – ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA.Some experience preferably within Shared Service Centre setting or multinational corporation background.SAP or other major ERP Systems experience is desirable.Salary and BenefitsAnnual salary depending on experience - in the region of €57,000 per annum.25 days of annual leave.Corporate healthcare plan, corporate pension plan.Continuous training and upskilling opportunities.You can work from home one day after the passing probation period of 6 months.Full-time, permanent position.Working Hours: Monday to Friday standard office working hours, flexi start.Location: Cherrywood, Dublin 18 100% onsite in the first 6 months (afterwards 1 day work from home if you want!).Sounds interesting?
