Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Partnerships Director to join our team at Food Cloud, a social enterprise passionate about tackling food waste and increasing social inclusion in communities across Ireland and internationally. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in partnership development and management, with a strong understanding of the food industry and social enterprise sector.

The Partnerships Director will lead the development and management of Food Cloud's partnerships with the food industry, food banks, and community organisations, advancing the organisation's strategic objectives and growing its impact.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading a team of over 20 colleagues and providing inspirational leadership.
  • Developing and executing strategic plans that align with Food Cloud's mission, vision, and financial sustainability goals.
  • Creating and executing a commercial and partnerships strategy, aligning it with the overall organisational strategy.
  • Identifying and cultivating new commercial opportunities with existing and potential partners.
  • Establishing and maintaining Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with partners.
  • Overseeing the development and management of partnership programmes.
  • Collaborating with Product & Technology Teams to enhance service delivery through technology.
  • Leading and mentoring a large team across multiple functions.
  • Fostering collaboration and communication across teams, promoting a positive and inclusive organisational culture.
  • Ensuring high standards of internal communication and maintaining positive collaboration across teams.
  • Representing Food Cloud's vision and values in external partnerships and internal leadership.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience as a Partnerships Director or in a similar leadership role, ideally within the food sector, technology sector, and/or a mission-driven or social enterprise environment.
  • Strong relationship management and networking skills, coupled with leadership and problem-solving abilities.
  • Relevant degree or masters qualification.
