Truck Parts Specialist/Stock Controller sought for a family-owned Truck & Bus Dealership in Dublin, requiring strong organizational and technical skills.
Flexsource Solutions is recruiting a Truck Parts Specialist/Stock Controller in Santry, Co. Dublin for one of our clients that is a family-owned business and is a Truck & Bus Dealership with two depots.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver parts efficiently to workshop repairs, liaising with workshop personnel as required.
- Perform routine checks for parts supply on all workshop jobs.
- Ensure fast, efficient & accurate delivery of components to relevant jobs in the Workshop.
- Pre-pick parts and plan orders for Workshop jobs.
- Process all parts-related documentation.
- Liaise with suppliers for ordering parts.
Warehouse Responsibilities:
- Coordinate deliveries.
- Allocate stock.
- Control Parts stock.
Skills Required:
- Motor Trade experience.
- Technical knowledge of motor vehicles.
- Forklift licence.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently under challenging time constraints.
- Highly organized.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexible approach to work tasks.
- Strong forward planning and follow-up skills.
- Computer literate (Excel / Outlook / systems).
Essential Requirements:
- Extensive knowledge of vehicle type and parts; HGV experience preferred.
- Confident using a computerized parts system.
- Experience of stock management and following parts processes with attention to detail.
- Experience with handling warranty.
Job Details:
- Monthly salary paid, €30k to €35k depending on experience.
- Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm, 1 hour lunch.
- 1 in 2 Saturdays included in salary.
- 1 month notice.
- PDR bonus 1.5% of salary.
