Job Description
Seeking an experienced Pastry Chef de Partie to join the team at Diamond Coast Hotel, reporting directly to the Executive Chef.

The Pastry Chef de Partie will be responsible for:
- Working with the Management Team to ensure the smooth running of the pastry section on a day-to-day basis.
- Ensuring the efficient running of the pastry area while on duty and making provision for preparation while off duty.
- Demonstrating a hands-on approach to all bakery products produced in the Pastry Department, ensuring quality, presentation and consistency standards meet company standards.
- Assisting with the development of standardised recipes for all menu items.
- Ensuring proper levels of bakery and pastry items are prepared based on forecasted needs.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
- A qualification in a catering discipline.
- Ability to multitask and work well in an environment with time constraints.
- Excellent work ethic with drive and the ambition to succeed.
- Flexibility and a proactive approach.
- Excellent communication skills, enthusiastic and motivated.
