Food Service Worker Job Description
The Food Service Worker is responsible for cooking and preparing food according to recipes and production guidelines while adhering to food safety, food handling, and sanitation procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers.
- Ensure all food hygiene regulations are adhered to.
- Clean and maintain service equipment and areas.
- Monitor and record food and equipment temperatures.
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records.
- Attend training sessions and maintain personal hygiene and appearance.
- Provide excellent customer service and work as part of a team.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a catering environment (on-the-job training provided).
- Basic food hygiene qualification within six months.
- Knowledge of food hygiene and HACCP.
- One year's experience in a similar environment.
- Good understanding of English and customer service skills.
